How to Read This Schedule

This is a schedule of deadlines. We will talk about plenty of other things in class, but this shows the work you need to do on specific dates.

Writings: All written work is due on Thursdays at 10:00 am. In most cases, these will be brief pieces posted directly to this site.

Readings: We will use several classes to read and discuss Carr, boyd, and Ronson. Since Fenton and Lee’s book is advice on various aspects of writing for the web, we will plan to a chapter from them each week. There will be other brief readings as well, including pieces from the internet and the work of people in this class.

Student Work: I’ve marked several classes during which we will discuss your writing. In Workshops, I will ask you to share your writing with a small group of other students. In Seminars, the class as a whole will talk about the work of several students. In Studios, I will give you time in class to work on pieces you are currently drafting.
